Honoring the Life and Legacy of Jo Lamprey

Jo Lamprey

Jo Lamprey was one of our chapter’s founding members in 2003, where she served on the Board of Directors and/or Advisory Council for almost 20 years.  Through her generosity and vision, she helped build a foundation of financial stability and sustainable growth that helped First Tee – New Hampshire become what it is today.

Nonprofit leadership and governance were very important in Jo’s life, she was always ready to lend her energy and support to a good cause. Known as a generous philanthropist throughout the state, Jo supported a wide variety of local efforts, such as providing access to affordable health care, providing shelter for the homeless, encouraging better citizenship among youth, finding homes for abused and neglected animals, and advancing energy conservation.

Jo had the biggest heart and was a terrific friend. She was a respected mentor and leader. She loved opening her home for various charitable events and for rousing Patriots game day festivities with family and friends. Jo was kind, fierce, feisty, and a visionary. Her radiant, warm smile will be missed by those who knew her and loved her.
