First Tee – New Hampshire participant Luc Gagnon recently attended First Tee Innovators Forum. The First Tee Innovators Forum sets to empower First Tee teens to develop a meaningful service project in their communities focusing on raising awareness on global issues focusing on education, health, and sustainability, in which they will have 6 to 8 months to execute the service project within their communities.
During the forum, the selected participants had the opportunity to learn from global industry leaders through interactive workshops and small group breakout sessions. The keynote speaker was Frank Carbajal, Founder and President of Es Tiempo, LLC and Silicon Valley Latino Leadership Summit an organization that brings Top Thought Leaders from around the country to Stanford University. First Tee partner, CapTech, assisted the participants in their creation of the service project through their creativity, innovation and goal development session.
At the end of the forum, a total of $32,000 was awarded to 8 participants to further their educational pursuits. Luc was selected as one of the eight participants to receive this stipend. Congratulations Luc and job well-done on representing First Tee – New Hampshire!
